La Siesta has allowed the advent of many novelties including parasailing. Towed behind a powerful speedboat, the bravest people (there were many) took off from the beach.
Today, the sensation of rising above the horizon to admire the landscape from the firmament still attracts many enthusiasts to all the beaches of the world. It has always been said to me that this sport was born in France at La Siesta thanks to the famous parachutists, the Treves brothers.
